My name is Camilla Lovmand. I'm the artist behind the sculptures, illustrations, and projects you'll find here. I work from my home studio in Aarhus, Denmark, where art naturally lives alongside everyday rituals, foods and interiors.

In my practice, I work across different materials, but paper holds a special place. I'm fascinated by the stories it already carries. I collect pieces of paper that naturally find their way to me and treat them like a diary, an archive of moments, people, and places. From there, they become drawings, paintings, sculptures, and new narratives as I explore why each piece ended up in my hands.

Creating gives me a sense of calm. It's my way of revisiting experiences, processing emotions, and staying curious about both myself and the world around me.

Drawing has been part of my life since childhood. My artistic universe began to take shape in 2018, when I started studying Design Technology with a specialization in Visual Fashion Communication. Alongside my artistic practice, I also work as a graphic designer, where illustration and visual storytelling continue to play a central role.

The common thread running through my work is a curiosity about people: their quirks, emotions, differences, and the quiet moments that often go unnoticed. My work is an exploration of those moments, approached with intuition, humour, and care.
